GLOW Walk-a-thon FAQs

Who:         Peachblow Crossing Elementary School

What:        GLOW Walk-a-thon Fundraiser 

Where:      In the Gym at Peachblow Crossing Elementary School

When:        Friday, September 27 during Specials 

         M/TH Kindergarten will also have a time slot to attend in the morning 

Why:         Build Community. Raise money. Have fun. And of course to GLOW!

How:        Students will walk 20 laps in the GLOW (in the dark) atmosphere created in the Gym. 

How does the Walk-a-thon GLOW?

The lights in the gym will be dimmed. Colorful black lights will be used to enhance the atmosphere and make it GLOW. Students will also be given glow in the dark swag to add the the fun of the day. 

Where will the GLOW Walk-a-thon take place?

The GLOW Walk-a-thon will take place in the gym during your students Specials time on walk-a-thon day. 

How many laps will my student walk?

Each student will walk 20 laps around the gym. 

Does my student need to wear something specific on walk-a-thon day?

No, your student does not need to wear anything special. But we strongly recommend your student wear sneakers or comfortable walking schools.
